Remote access solution for Pcs
In the next few days I’ll be gone to see some of my friends. But my business is also important. I searched for a remote access solution to my PC and I come across remotepc.com.
Any web designer knows the importance of time. Why to buy another laptop when you can connect to your home PC even from an Internet coffee?
RemotePC is a program that enables me to access my home computer from a local computer. All I need is an Internet connection. The best feature is that I can check my emails, documents and everything else. Of course my home PC has to be powered on.
Things goes like this: the “viewer” application must be installed on the local computer, while the remote computer should be enabled with the ‘host’ application. I can also connect to your remote computer using a web browser.
The connection is 128-bit RC4/ssl secured. So your remote access connection is 100% safe.
Another great feature of this software is the: Remote Printing (Ability to print directly from my remote host computer to a printer connected to my local viewer computer.)
Also if I want I can transfer data between host and viewer computers. Isn’t that just great?
There are many features like: full screen mode, service mode, fast screen refresh which make this software awesome.
The system requirements specification should satisfy almost everybody: Windows Vista, XP, 2000, Windows Server 2003 (Service pack 4 and above), Stable Internet connection. My home computer runs Windows Vista but Vista isn’t used as heavily as XP. So, another white ball.
I don’t know if anybody tested this program but I’m going to test the demo to see with my eyes what else can do this program.
Happy remote computing!
